My summer at camp was truly the best summer ever. From the moment I arrived, I felt part of an incredible community that quickly became like family. I made unbelievable memories and friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Whether it was the activities, the amazing staff, or simply spending time with friends, every day was filled with something new and meaningful.
The immediate and useful replies from the JCUSA team made the process through JCUSA incredibly smooth and easy, I honestly would have been lost with out their assistance.
Camp was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I learned so much about myself. The experience helped me to come out of my shell and try new things that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise considered doing. All the staff were so supportive and friendly and the kids were amazing to work with. JCUSA were also incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the application process and I’m so incredibly grateful to them.
Having spent three summers at camp, it’s easy for me to say what a fantastic experience it is. Working with a group of likeminded individuals and enjoying the fun of sports, trips and activities all summer long while getting paid is really a dream. JCUSA greatly help streamline the process and act as a point of reference, contact and support throughout your whole journey - so I couldn’t go feeling any more prepared.
I have been working at Camp Solomon Schechter in Seattle for the past 3 summers! The job has allowed me to grow in confidence, increase my skill set and help me connect to my Jewish identity. It has also allowed me to explore my passion for rock climbing and zip lining, leading me to take on a leadership role on the challenge course which has been a highlight of the past few years for me.
Doing camp over this summer was the best decision of my life. I had incredible experiences, made lifelong friendships and learnt so much about myself along the way. I would recommend this experience to everyone and JCUSA really helped make this process easy.
Going on camp was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Camp allows you to step out of your comfort zone and grow as a person whilst also making unforgettable memories with amazing people.
I have spent two amazing summers at camp. Both years pushed me way out of my comfort zone and taught me so much about leadership, patience, and what I’m actually capable of. I met incredible people and it changed my life in a way I’m very grateful for. I will be eternally grateful to all I learnt at camp. I learned more in those two summers than I had in years.
